I could really relate to Phil’s comment on consistency. It is good to know that we all struggle with our relationship with Christ, but He is always available no matter how unavailable we are. I have visited this retreat camp for 6 years and have never been dissapointed. There is so much to do like tubing on the Comal, shopping at Market Days or The San Marcos Outlet Mall, or getting a massage or hiking or just do nothing but lay in your bunk in your PJs and read. Fun and relaxation all in one weekend!

VBS was crazy, rewarding, exhausting and fun! I wanted to be sure that everyone heard about one of the coolest things that happended as a result of VBS. A young boy was transported to VBS on the CBC bus each evening. The young boy and his mother went to church this past Sunday (for the first time)and told CBC that she wants to begin to drive the bus each Sunday so other children can come to church. Going back a bit. The bus progeam has not been in existance since CBC split the last time because there was no one who could drive the bus. Fast forward: the mom who wants to drive the CBC bus is a Leander ISD bus driver, so all she has to do is get behind the wheel. Now THAT is what all the hard work is ALL about. YEAH GOD!

I’ve been interested for a while in an online venue for honest dialog about church, faith, living a devoted life and encouraging one another. The folks at CedarRidge have a love for God and a love for people. Online discussions allow us to interact throughout our week at any hour of the day and invite others to join in on the discussion. So what do you think about this forum?
